This was a great opportunity for our guests to try the 2008 new range of seamless technology drivers. Each participant can also compete for the latest Grand Golf driver worth over HK10,000 in the longest drive competition. The winner achieved 287 yards on all 3 tries that he had. He was delighted and surprised at the incredible consistency that this new driver gave him.

Ernst and Young partnered with Central Golf Hong Kong to present a fabulous golf day to its special guests at the Shenzhen Xili Golf and Country Club. Despite the coldest winter in a decade, the sun came out and gave us his warmest smiles in the afternoon. Before tee off, we had the pleasure to invite Tony Nash, the 2004 PGA Champion, to jointly conduct a golf seminar with our director, Marc Boggia on how to control the ball flight and demonstrated some shots for us. Afterwards, all the flights had a PGA Pro as a companion player for several holes. It was a great start to the year and this marks a long tradition to come!
"Professional Women's Networking Event"

Merrill Lynch's offices were packed with energetic and professional ladies that night. Our PGA Pro, Geoff Loughland was invited to share his golf techniques to the ladies. We brought the SAM Puttlab with us and showed the guests the 28 parameters that this system could give of their putting strokes on site.

Besides having group lessons on golf, Standard Chartered partnered with Central Golf again to introduce a golf seminar to interested staff. Geoff Loughland, our PGA Pro shared his ideas, discussed on pre-game preparation and attitude. Afterwards, they joined the Sam PuttLab to improve putting skills and enjoyed the longest drive competition.
Braemar Hill Nursery School Sports Day - 17th November 2007
Braemar Hill Nursery School held a sport day in Wu Kai Sha Youth Village in Hong Kong. 80 toddlers were ready to swing a golf club at age the of 3! These unbelievably talented golfers went on a putting and a full swing training session with Sean and Geoff under the bearing sun...... the result? Longest drives and hole-in-ones for all!
Ernst and Young Golf Day in Beijing

On 3rd November, staff members and guests of Ernst & Young enjoyed a wonderful golf day organized by Ernst & Young Beijing office at the Pine Valley Golf Club. The weather on the day couldnˇ¦t be any better. Central Golf conducted different golf clinics covering full swing, bunker play and putting to the participants before the tournament started and guests had a great time enjoying the entertaining and professional interesting instructions by our golf professionals. Our PGA Pro also provided on-course advice to guests during the tournament. Guests were all impressed by the golf instructions as well as our professional golf services.
British Chamber of Commerce "How to lower your score" seminar

Central Golf partnered with British Chamber of Commerce to introduce a golf night with its members. Our PGA Pro Geoff Loughland shared his experience and discussed on mental attitude, technique, pre-match preparation and on-course management skill. We also held a swing analysis, putting analysis and longest drive competition. The evening ended with laughter and well.

The open day on Sunday 26th August brought in many golf enthusiasts. The 3-hr session incorporated a golf seminar where our PGA Pro Sean Lim shared his tournament preparation experiences, a golf clinic where our guests had a chance to talk to our PGA Pro face to face. We also had a swing analysis and a putting analysis with PGA Pros. Our longest drive competition was the highlight of the session; there were a tie with 236 yards and need a play-off. At the end, we all had a great morning and a special thank you to Swiss Privilege for sponsoring the event, not to mention the free 1-year golf insurance that we all took home!
"Game Rules" seminar

Sean clarified a lot of different local and tournament rules to the members of China Golf. There are many cases where a golfer needs to decide on the spot whether to claim a lost ball or play a provisional ball. Sean's vast experience definitely helped us!

Ever tried golfing on a cruise ship? We were on the top deck (11th floor) of the new Superstar Aquarius, the sea breeze and bright sun actually worked well together while James gave all the guests a 10-min swing analysis session with our V1 and golf achiever software. Thank you James!
It was a very nice day at Garden Farm. The weather has brought us back the feelings of our teenager days where we are in no fear of the sun or heat. It was hot and sweaty, but it did not defeat our love for golf! James together with 30 members did a lot of pitching and swing analysis that day. Thanks to Sun Hung Kai Wealth Management for sponsoring this event!

20 golfers attended our HSBC Central Golf evening. Sean spoke about his IPGA HK tournament which he won in 2006. Tournament preparation and strategy is important, if your goal is to win, minor things from your daily intake to your golf equipment might just make or break your day. It was a very interactive night with very positive responses from the crowd all passionate about golf.
